This site is a private reference page. It is not a government office. Nobody here can confirm who is in custody, arrange a release, post bond, or hand over an official booking record. Need a current answer or a copy of a record? Go straight to the agency that created it or keeps it on file. The numbers and links below point you to the right place.
Reach the Right Bingham Office
Booking questions in Bingham County start with the Sheriff's Office. BCSO runs the county jail. Its formal name is the Bingham County Detention Center. No live roster or booking-photo search appears on its public pages, so a phone call or a written records request is usually the best route.

Want a booking sheet or a photograph? Two options exist. File through the BCSO and Blackfoot public-records PDF. Or use the Blackfoot online request form. Requests under 100 pages carry no charge. Larger ones bill actual copy cost. Photos, tapes, and videos need a new sealed 16GB thumb drive plus a $2 copying fee. Expect prepayment. Redaction or labor beyond two person-hours can add to the bill.
Response times differ slightly between the two agencies. The joint PDF says the office should reply within three working days. If more time is needed, it must notify you within ten. Blackfoot's online form also promises a three-working-day response. Longer requests there get notice within three days. Save whatever acknowledgment you receive, and ask the Records Division which clock applies.
Shelley Police records take a different path. The Shelley public-records notice accepts requests four ways: by mail, fax at 208-357-0595, in person, or by email to KPrice@binghamid.gov. That notice also lays out the under-100-page rule, prepayment, redaction and labor costs, and the sealed thumb-drive requirement for media.
- For a Bingham County booking sheet or booking photo, start with the county search and records path, then use the BCSO Records Department request route when no official result is available.
- For current intake or inmate-information questions, call detention booking, detention command, or inmate information rather than relying on a copied third-party listing.
- For a Blackfoot Police Department incident or report, use the Blackfoot Evidence and Records page and the joint online form. The monthly Blackfoot blotter is an aggregate activity archive, not a person-by-person photo roster.
- For a Shelley Police matter, identify Shelley PD in the request and follow the official notice. If BCSO handled the booking, send the booking-photo request to BCSO as well.
- For an Aberdeen matter, confirm the arresting agency first. The current city page says Bingham County Sheriff’s Department serves Aberdeen, while an older county agency list names Aberdeen Police Department.
- For an incarcerated, probation, or parole record under state jurisdiction, use the IDOC Resident/Client Search. It is not the county booking system.
- For court hearings or disposition, use Idaho iCourt. For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE locator as applicable.
